Nwobu is a seasoned IT and Cybersecurity Leader with over 15 years of experience building, securing, and managing enterprise technology infrastructures across industries. He is currently the Senior IT Manager (Network Infrastructure & Security) at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), where he leads enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy, IT operations, and digital transformation.

Initiatives.Throughout his career, Kingsley has successfully designed and implemented robust IT infrastructures, strengthened cyber defense systems, and led risk management and compliance programs that align technology with organizational goals. At ICAN, he has deployed advanced endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions, architected firewall and endpoint protection strategies, and standardized incident response protocols that safeguard critical data and ensure operational resilience.Before ICAN, Kingsley held leadership roles at Ipsos in Nigeria, where he directed IT operations across multiple African countries (Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Cameroon). His ability to balance strategic IT leadership with hands-on technical expertise positioned him as a trusted advisor on digital transformation and risk reduction.Earlier in his career, he worked with iWayAfrica, Computer Warehouse Limited, and other organizations, where he developed expertise in network engineering, system administration, and secure infrastructure designlaying the foundation for his later work as a security-focused IT executive.Kingsley holds a B.Eng. in Electronic and Computer Engineering and multiple globally recognized certifications, including CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert), MCSA, Cisco CCNP/CCDP, BTL1 (Security Blue Team), and HackTheBox CPTS (Certified Penetration Testing Specialist).
